Suricata is a network intrusion detection and prevention engine developed by the Open Information Security Foundation and its supporting vendors. The engine is multi-threaded and has native IPv6 support. It's capable of loading existing Snort rules and signatures and supports the Barnyard and Barnyard2 tools.
- Changes: Suricata 6.0.8 fixes 2 issues in the 6.0.7 distribution. libhtp 0.5.41 was not actually included and Suricata-Update 1.3.0dev0 was included instead of 1.2.5.
